Lee's Badminton Supplies was first established in 1990, where it was located in Scarborough; having an approximate area of 1500 square feet. The center was relocated in the Markham region in 1995, and by 2001, the center expanded to 8500 square feet with five courts, a fitness room and a pro-shop (all badminton related equipment and re-stringing service).

Due to increased numbers of memberships and players, Lee's opened a sub-section where three more courts were made available by September 2004. Finally in August 2007, Lee's combined the two sections of the training center to form a facility located in Markham, Ontario, 14000 square feet with 7 full size competitive badminton courts.

Former Hong Kong National Team member, Jennifer Lee, immigrated to Canada to establish Lee's Badminton Training Center in hope to raise a new generation of elite athletes. In 1995, the first Lee's Badminton Team was formed with various goals in mind: not only do they need to develop strong technical and physical skills; they were raised with great emphasis on building their own individual character while balancing their body and mind.

訓練中心創立於1990年，當時會址位於仕嘉堡，面積一千五百平方呎。1995年遷往萬錦市，2001年再擴張至面積八千五百平方呎，由原有三個室內羽毛球場增至五個，並設有健身室、羽毛球用品專賣店，提供各樣羽毛球用品：包括球拍、球鞋、球衣、球袋等等；並有球拍穿線服務。務求使會員能享受到一站式服務。隨著會員及學生不斷增加，五個球場亦不敷應用，所以於2004年9月再擴展多一處擁有三個球場之分會。2007年8月，為了方便會員使用各項設施，兩個會址合而為一，成為現時共有七個合乎國際羽毛球總會認可之場地。

場內地蓆均選用超級聯賽所採用之 Yonex-Nagase Kenko地蓆，比一般地蓆更有磨擦力，更能減低受傷机會。本會設有多種不同會籍，以應不同羽毛球愛好者之需要。

本會創辦人 李媱媱 Jennifer Lee

為前香港羽毛球代表隊成員，移民加國後創立李氏羽毛球訓練中心，致力培育新一代球員。於1995年更組成李氏球隊，訓練目標除著重學員球技、體能外，亦注重個人品德，務求使各人於體育、身心及修養上都得到平衡的發展。

李媱媱Jennifer Lee 曾多次被加拿大羽總委任為國家青少年羽毛球隊教練，帶領隊員到世界各地四出征戰。2007年Jennifer獲加拿大羽總邀請到英國蘇格蘭參加為期四天之國際羽毛球教練會議，行程主要參加兩天羽毛球技術理論、管理及教授技巧之課程，擔任今次課程之講師全是現役國家隊主教練。現今球技不斷進步及變化，有机會聽取世界級教練講授心得，對改進球隊訓練亦大有幫助。
